A Little Touch Up

We frequently have older clientele who are incapable of doing touch-ups and minor repairs. We listed a house owned by a couple who were downsizing into a small apartment, because their house was becoming too much for them to handle. Partway through the listing period, the couple moved out of the house. When their furnishings were removed, there was a section of wall behind where their TV was, that had a different color paint. Apparently when they had painted the house, they did not move the TV - perhaps it was too heavy. Anyway, the mismatched paint was in a very prominent location and was very distracting. We received comments back from showings regarding the mismatched paint. So, we determined the color and sheen, bought a small can of the paint, and covered the mismatched section. We had a contract on the house soon after, and everything worked out for the sellers.
